A great way to start Christmas

On Friday 6th December POG members had a great Christmas Social organised by Alice R and others. About 46 people came along for a Christmas Quiz night with Questionmaster - Chris W - setting the questions and with Alice, Dee, Jean and others presenting a nice buffet before we started.

The quiz ran well and in the end first place was a draw at 48 points so a tie-breaker sorted that out. Lots of witty banter went on during the quiz showing the mood of the evening. After the formalities of the quiz, we settled down to the serious business of finishing off the drinks we had brought and seeing if we could maybe manage a little more of the delicious buffet - there was plenty of it.

Alice announced that we would be continuing the popular inter-club quizzes next year. They'll be held between Hardway, GCC, Fareham, Hillhead and maybe others as fixtures allow. If you like quizes (they're not that hard - Chris pitches the questions well) or just fancy the social aspect of the get-together then why not come along?
