The Marchwood Rally went ahead despite the weather

Marchwood Rally, 6 & 7^th June

With the forecast for the Saturday going up to force 6 - 8, some 6 boats sailed up early, with others joining by car for the Saturday evening meal

Our friendly hosts at Marchwood looked after us very well indeed, with an excellent meal. Pre-dinner drinks provided an opportunity for marking the quiz set by Jeremy for the sail up, with the prize going to Jenny and Roy Chilvers.

The wind eased for an exhilarating Sunday sail back, to round off a very successful event, despite the weather. Thanks to Jeremy Rowley for organising and thoroughly recommended to everyone for another year.
