To become a member of Portsmouth Offshore Group Ltd (POG), you must first join the Civil Service Sports Council (CSSC) and the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA). You can see if you're eligible to join CSSC by clicking here. Even if you are not a current or past employee of the Civil or Public Service you may be able to join through a friend or family member.
If you are eligible, the CSSC application form can be completed online here The process is straight forward and you should receive your membership number by email within a day or two.
Once you have your CSSC membership number you'll need to join CSSA. Membership is free but it is our parent body so you must join CSSA to complete the membership process. For details and to download an application form click here.
Once you have your CSSC and CSSA numbers, you can then apply to become a member of POG.

Once you have done this, you can make your application by completing the application form here. There is a joining fee of £50 and an annual subscription of £20 and payment instructions will be sent once your application has been accepted.
Once your membership application has been accepted and you have made payment, you will receive your membership number and a key to the POG Sailing Centre. You can then access to the Members Area of the club website. By going to My Details, you can update your personal details or you can email details to the Membership Secretary. You should also email details of your boat to the moorings team which will will enable them to assess your eligibility for moorings in the future should you apply for one.
