Booking a Temporary Berth (quick reference)

Full details on the Temporary Berths page.

In summary:

1) Go to the Temporary Berths page under Moorings Matters, and scroll right down to the bottom of the page to see a calendar showing which berths have been offered (in blue) and bookings already made (in red):

If there are more than 3 offers on a given day, click 1 more, 2 more etc below (see red arrow/circle) to get the full list. Short bookings can similarly be expanded by clicking on them (See green arrow/circle).

2) Check whether there are any berths available on your chosen days which are large enough for your boat.

3) If there does seem to be a match (or even if you can't see one, just to check), on the same Temporary Berths page, scroll down/up to the Google form Offer or Request a Berth near the bottom:

Fill in the details, saying that you are Requesting a berth, and press the purple Submit button at the bottom of the form.

You will receive an email confirming success or failure.

4) If successful, make your £5 contribution per night for the use of a Temporary Berth. The contribution is made by purchasing one or more 'Trusted Contribution' items in the 'Temporary Berthing' section of the online Shop. POG mooring holders (including Burrow Island, Haslar and Wicor) do not need to make this contribution.

5) If you have not been successful, do try again closer to the date, as many owners only make their berths available on departure.
